The pattern had me a bit stuck in several places - the initial cast on for the hood threw me totally, but there is great support from the designer who has a video on it. Clever way to start it off I must say.
Made a mistake on the hood (a purl row down the centre).

I think the hood could have done with more shaping as the increases are only done down the centre of the back. I think it could have done with some closer to the face too.

Unfortunatly half of the cable was missing from the pattern so I didn’t get the “squirm” at all - an error which was missed and I have let the designer know.

I added about 3 inches to the length and the same with the sleeves, although I could do with frogging back the ribbing and adding more still.

For the cuffs the pattern calls for 2x2 ribbing with no decreasing from the sleeves which for Toby meant that they caught a lot.
I frogged them back and after the first 2 2x2 rows I purled 2 together creating 2x1 ribbing. They still gape a little, but its better for him.

The pattern was clearly written and easy to follow otherwise and would be great for someone wanting to start out with cables.

Love the way it is worked in the round with one 1 1inch seam at the end.

The drops yarn was beautiful to knit with - I am in love - buy some!!!!!

The darker green for the sleeves and waist was cascade 220 heathers, of which I used less than 1/4 of a skein.
