Project notes from June 2013:
Another small shawl of my own design for my GYI summer Camp project for July 2013. I purchase this gorgeous yarn at GYI when Kate Gagnon Osborn and Courtney Kelley of the Fibre Company came to visit us on November 2, 2012.

This month’s camp project is “Make New Friends But Keep the Old”. I believe this qualifies, as I have never designed a 3-color shawl… and I have never designed a crescent shaped shawl… I have never designed and knit a shawl in just one month… and I have never used an alpaca/merino/bamboo blend yarn… It is yummy!

07-30-13 Wow! This was a close one on both time and on yarn! I just bound off and have only 14g total yarn left (only 1g of the brown.) I had to rip out my swatch in order to have enough yarn to finish. This evening I will weave in yarn ends and hand-wash to block. I will call tomorrow my finish date as I expect it to be dry by then.
