Knit in round for about 10 rows (rolled brim)
Switch to larger needles (size 8US)
Slip Stitch pattern as follows:
Pattern Rows 1 & 2: knit 4, Slip 1
Pattern rows 3 & 4: knit 2, Slip 1, then Knit 4, slip 1 to last two stitches, knit 2
Pattern rows 5 & 6: Slip 1, Knit 4 to end
Knit plain for about 10 rows, then repeat slip stitch pattern rows again.
Repeat until you’ve reached the desired length.
