Notes

I wanted to see how it would turn out if I used two colors. …Worked out better than I envisioned in my head!

Pattern is very easy--no sewing involved. I learned a great technique, using different-sized stitches to easily shape garments.

I used mystery unbranded yarn from Baguio City market. The light blue one is from my brother (I think it’s a cotton-acrylic blend). I bought the pink yarn. The vendors there call it “velvet” yarn and sell it for 200-250 pesos per kilogram (that’s around 5$). I had no idea how it would look like when washed; I’m pretty lucky that it came out softer and blocked beautifully. It feels like a light terry-cloth towel when crocheted. :D

I’m loving the color combination. Makes me feel like a demure schoolteacher for some reason. :D
