1 round sc with piercing hook (I used the sewn hem as a guide, piercing a hole with the hook in roughly every 2nd stitch hole from the hem).

2nd round trim with size A hook (multiple of 6 sts):
slip stitch, ch 2, dc in next st, tc in next st, ch 3, slip stitch into 3rd chain from hook (top of tc), tc in next st, dc in next st, ch 2, slip stitch
