12.4.12 - I started two of these out of red lamb’s pride leftovers and various sock yarn remnants at least 2 years ago. Because I managed to read (or NOT read) instructions that suggested you cover the whole bangle with remnants, I set these aside as it was a level of perfection I saw as unattainable. Also, if I’d realized that so much of the felted bangle would show, I would not have used my red Lamb’s Pride with the colors of remnantry I had. Lesson learned (this time): read the instructions and if you can’t be bothered to do that, at least look at the pictures - they’re dead giveaways.

12.18.12 - I finished two more this weekend, and found myself just wrapping continuously. This time I knew i didn’t have to, but I just kept wrapping and wrapping. I used a fuzzy yarn for felting, so maybe it was just wanting it to be neater and neater. Also, I’ve adjusted to a turkish cast-on, leaving one needle in the opposite side and grafting the two sides together once I reach 40 rows. I like it better without the seam that I got from the 3 needle bind-off.
