My first knitting project is this simple scarf that I started at L’Oisive Thé knitting group. (Thanks, Aimee!) During my first week, I attempted to pick up my first dropped stitch, but knitted it backwards, so there’s an annoyingly odd lump near the bottom corner. Also, the edges aren’t as smooth as I thought they’d be, but it’s still coming together quite nicely. I know it won’t be perfect, but I’m content with using it to practice and working towards finishing it. I hope to have it done before the new year!
