Starting for the hat KAL at L’Oisive Thé knitting group. Fell in love with the pattern after seeing louloux’s Marina.

It took me some time to finish this because I hadn’t had much time to sit down and actually knit for a couple of weeks. Otherwise, it’s such a speedy knit - I know I could have finished it in one Saturday if I’d really wanted to. And, the pattern is really easy to follow - except that for the first panel, I kind of acidentally followed the wrong version of the pattern and in the end, it came out a bit wonky on the grafting row. Tant pis!

I still prefer Louloux’s version of the hat and I kind of wish I’d gone for the same color of yarn and maybe did an extra panel or two since it seems a bit smaller than I thought it would be, but c’est la vie. I guess I’ll just have to make another one!

Btw, Wooly Wormhead is kind of brilliant.
