Held the yarn double. Cast on a lot of stitches (maybe 100?), chained 2, double crocheted in each stitch, joined (twisted) with slst. Chained 2 at beg. of each round and continued double crochet until I thought it was wide enough.

I hope my sister will love it - I would personally wear it all the time. I think next time I won’t twist the work when joining and just keep it straight.
