Ended up casting on only 4 garter rows in the round to maintain balance with following garter row set.

Also, because this hat is cast on in worsted and I’m hoping it will fit a toddler size!

Really pleased with the end result, not the least because I worked with the new classy!

I think if I were to do it again, I’d plan the decreases better for shaping. The pattern is free, which I appreciate, but could have used more direction.
