7/30/11 - Finally got some pictures! I did a major neckline mod cutting in a square neck into the front, and the back to the shoulder line flat across. I also added 2” length to the body and I think about 1.5” to the sleeve inseam. Blocking was the biggest fit tool on this one though. I love the finished sweater. Pattern was very precise where needed, but a little vague on how to increase and decrease with the lace pattern. You’ll need help if you haven’t dealt with patterned shaping before. Yarn is so yummy I can’t even begin to say enough about it! I will be buying more ASAP!
2/16/11 - I have had my eye on this pattern for a while, and I finally found a yarn I like for it last May at the CT Sheep & Wool Festival! Swatch seemed good, so I cast on and I’m on my way. Love the color and texture of this yarn: 70% baby alpaca, 20% silk, 10% cashmere. True lux.
