12/28/10 - My sister loved her new shawl and the first pic is of her with her copper colored hair mingling with the lace :)

12/13/10 - It came out beautiful - but no pics until after Christmas! It is smaller than I expected, but I think she’s going to wear it more as a scarf than a formal shawl in reality, so it’s ok. I used a lace weight yarn on the recommended needle and the pattern called for sock/fingering yarn. I think the skein actually would have made the larger size, but I wasn’t sure b/c it called for 1000 yds and this was only 700.

11/19/10 - This is for my Sister. SHe has fabulous red hair and I am excited to see it mingle with the really lovely blue-green color of the yarn. With just about a month to knock this out, it’s going to be tight, but I think I can do it!
