8/12/2010 - I finally finished!!! Only 5 or 6 yards of yarn left - I was sweatin’ finishing up the sleeves. It grew in length from the pattern measured amounts by about 20% on account of the drape of the rayon yarn. I still love it, but just something to keep in mind if you decide to use a rayon yarn for a full sized garment. So effectively I ended up modifying the cardi to have the lace end at the waist and almost 10 or so inches longer overall.

5/9/2010 - I had 11” done and decided to try it out, around my hips, and boy did I flub picking the size to make! It is way to small for me! I somehow didn’t realize that the bust sizing was NOT the way to go when dealing with a straight construction cardigan that goes over the hip. I am starting over at a larger size.

Just started with a seed stitch swatch - sooo pretty. I am in love with the yarn!
