Notes

I made eight of the Poinsettia motifs from this Crochet Today! pattern to make into a 16”x16” pillow for the holiday season! Love it!!

I made the squares exactly as suggested (I got 9” squares instead of 8”) but I had some issues with the start/end of the rounds. After playing with it, I figured out how to make them look a lot better. I used linked double crochet stitches and did not use a slip stitch to join each round. It turned out MUCH better. I used the tutorial in the issue of Crochet Today! that this pattern is from, but I’m sure the internet has equally helpful tips on linked double crochets. I’m still using my first squares (which didn’t use the linked stitches) since they’re not that bad. I just put them on the back!
