I made these stackable cats for my dear friend Beth, who just moved to a new flat and couldn’t take her cats with her.

The pattern included a few new techniques for me, and I finally decided to learn how to pick up stitches properly. It was a fruitful exercise for me, and I absolutely loved learning them.

The provisional cast-on definitely needs to be a lot more tidy to make the presence of this edge of the top of the cat’s heads less obvious.

I didn’t like making the limbs - the instructions for the w&t’s were a bit unclear, and I only got it right on the last one.

Overall a wonderful pattern.
