The hair is green in the pattern but I loved this bright fushia in the flowers and wanted to also use it for the hair. This means I also needed the change the color of the flower in her hair, and I changed the shape a little, which was harder than I thought to work back into the design. It has been so fun to personalize this gal, just like dressing a doll!

My count was off on the flowers at the bottom of her dress, so they are not EXACTLY where they should be, but good enough. I added tiny strap shoes for her and made a bouquet from French Knots.

She is finished to go in a hot pink hoop, rather than the square finish that has a border. That’s because she is to be a set with a gnome of like colors. I actually bought 2 of this gnome, the other one has him with a heart behind his back. I think it will be cute to have one on each side of her, showing that he is showering her with gifts! I still have to do the finishing involved that will make them ready for hanging. So, off to watch more youtube videos on that… it is scary to me… to make final decisions that can prove unchangeable if you change your mind! I’ve always had problems with that permanent part of finishing anything.
