After finishing 1 arm and the top, and starting on the second arm, the piece spiraled around, and I found my self nearly joining to the wrong side! So straighten before joining those center pieces.

For some reason, I missed the join at the top of the center circle. That should happen on the last arm, when you make the 2 that are right together, with no chain between. I had to sew my picots together.

When doing the edging, there are only 3dc before the set of 2 rings together in the inside corners and 3dc in the chain right after the 2 rings together.

I thought the edging would make it nice and flat, but it needed blocking. I used half water & half liquid starch.

I used the cro-tat hook for the chains between the rings, but for the edging that is solid crochet, I used a size 11 hook.
