Notes

Basic top down raglan for leftie. I wanted it to have a roll neck collar and cuffs and hem. Worried that the cuffs and hem will roll too much so I’m settling for a k1,p1 for a few rows. It’s coming together nicely. Such a nice and mindless knit perfect for sitting in front of the box with a glass of wine nearby. I’ve tried it on leftie to check the fit. She seems amused. But dang does she look cozy. Just like she’s getting a big brown hug. Photos to come when this puppy’s complete.

This has been completed for some time. It gets a lot of wear keeping leftie very warm indeed. The yarn is not well suited for this kind of a knit (i.e., kids/babies). There’s pilling and floofing and whatnot. If you like that ragtag sort of scruffy look, I think it could look good for certain styles. But I think in this carnation it makes my knitting look sloppy. :) Still, it’s a warm warm sweater and I’m pleased with how this came out.
