Notes

Pretty much done with this project. The sweater is a bit snug but I’m too tired to take it apart and re-knit it. Perhaps leftie’s future sibling will wear it at a smaller size.

Still haven’t added the patches or the possible pocket yet. Still would like to.

Not sure if it’s cause the fit is off, but I’m not IN LOVE with this knit.

I love my vanilla peppermint socks so much that I decided to make leftie a pullover in the same style. I envision a fitted long sleeve pullover with the same barberpole red+white stripes and red cuffs/hem/neckline. I intended this to have set-in sleeves but because of the barberpole striping I have to make it a raglan instead. Better luck next time, I guess. I’m toying around with neckline ideas. I fear that leftie’s one year old head is still too big for a regular crew neck and I’ll have to add buttons or lap shoulders instead. Also I am envisioning patches on the elbows. Maybe in a tan or greige. It’ll all depend on what’s available in the in ye olde stash.
