I’m not really sure how much yarn I used, because I had a lot left over and already wound from two other wedding shawls, and I had too much going on at the time to weigh the skeins I used to see if they were full or partially used. I had to join a second skein on the edging, so I would guestimate one skein and change, but that’s just a guess.

I used size 8 silver-lined yellow-gold beads from my LBS. They weren’t labeled with a brand or color number I could reference.

Here’s how I did my beading:

Initial triangle (Charts A, B, and C): on the wrong side, bead above each decrease. For example, on row 2 of chart B, K4, bead next stitch & knit, then k5, bead stitch & knit according to pattern until last decrease, K7. (The number of stitches knit after the final decrease will change but otherwise all rows are the same)
Transition: Rows 4 and 12, after first three stitches, bead every other stitch
Edging (chart D): on even rows, bead first stitch after slip stitch, follow pattern to stitch above last k2tog in the series of paired YO’s, bead and knit, k3, bead and knit, follow pattern to end of row and bead last stitch. For example, on row 4 of chart D, slip as instructed, bead and knit, k8, bead and knit, k3, bead and knit, k5, k1tbl, bead and knit tbl.
