08/11/2014-So excited to start this one, it looks like a fun knit! I swatched today, first time using DK Twist and now I understand what all the fuss is about…it is heavenly!

08/12/2014-Swatches are dry. Looking at my gauge swatches I prefer the US 6 and I think it should work out well for me to do the 33.5” to get about a 37”. That will give me 2” positive ease with everything buttoned up and I am assuming I will wear this with a camisole underneath and a few buttons open. My swatch of the back pattern came out a smidgen larger than the pattern gauge so I am hoping this is all going to work out. I am loving this color and am very excited to get started!
Not going to bother alternating…
08/17/2014-finished the back, this is going so quickly! Used about 1.25 skeins and am going to do armhole depth of 8 inches based on measurements Missy took and measurements of sweaters I own.
08/19/2014-Front is complete! Now to cast on for sleeves! I think I will do both at once…
08/23/2014-I am SO glad I decided to knit the sleeves 2 at a time! I am almost done and it is so nice to not have to make notes about where I stopped on one and try to match up the other. Starting sleeve caps tonight so hope to be blocking sleeves tomorrow at the latest.
08/24/2014-Sleeves are blocking and the neckband and buttonbands are knit.
08/25/2014-sleeves not dry yet as of this morning…so hoping they will be dry tonight so I can seam everything together!
Oh wait…I have to get buttons for this don’t I???
08/28/2014-all the seaming is done! Hope to purchase AND SEW ON buttons tomorrow.
So after all the worry over a seamed garment…I LOVE IT! So happy with how this turned out. I made the skirt to go with it as well and am just so excited about this outfit.
