I had an urge to crochet a skirt for my baby girl…. well, I actually started with an urge to crochet her a vest but halfway through making the vest I decided it looked more like a skirt so I went with that! (the perks of crocheting with no pattern for a guide!)
I think the skirt turned out super lovely and guess what…. it was super easy to make as well!

Why call it Bolcano skirt? Well, my 4yo son has been talking about Bolcanoes a lot lately…. volcanoes! I was thinking that this skirt kind of builds into a volcano shape but seeing as how I’m influenced by my 4yo, it kind of builds into a Bolcano shape!

It is made from the scraps I had left over from my blanket, so it’s made from Bendigo Woollen Mills Cotton.

…so what do you think of it? Should I make it into a pattern for you or others to use as well?
