Mar 28 - I started making this great owl as a present to my friend, it will be wearing pink shirt and hat, i bought acrilic yarn because reviews are very good. Before I made toys using cotton only. Body is made in one evening. I’m very excited about how it turns out, Alan’s patterns are usually super clear and great-looking!
Mar 31 - all done! I love how it turned out, i’m very sad to go give it away and maybe I’ll have to make one just for me. Yes, there is a lot of seaming, but i guess that’s just how alan prefers to work, it’s not too hard to modify some pieces to circular knitting if desired. I was most worried about the eyes, not 100% satisfied with how they look but I think it’s pretty good.
I used Brava Worsted in Brindle, Rouge, Canary and Custard, and scraps of cotton and other acrilic yarn.
