Notes

I found this Freesia shawl pattern and fell in love right away. Delicate lacy holes, knit diagonally in readily available DK weight.

My stash of Queensland Collection Rustic Tweed in color #916 was a delight to work with. A lovely subtle tonal yarn in shades of gold with little flecks of black.

You start in one corner and knit away until you run out of yarn or until you reach the best size for you. Would look luscious in your fingerling tonal hanks just waiting for that just right project.

You can easily change the needle size and yarn weight to make your shawl unique to you! I’ve got a gorgeous red “cake” waiting to be transformed into this shawl. I’m thinking a very large shawl…one that would come down over the bum!
