I love how the creepy cute crochet look, but there are some elements of the patterns that I just don’t understand or something, because mine comes out nothing like the example. For me, the worst was the lapels on the Day of the Dead groom. I made it and it was about an inch too long to actually work. Not to mention I don’t even know if I had the instructions wrong.

I don’t have a hairpin lace tool, so I went online and found another source for the bride’s hair. It was tedious to say the least. And I gave her a half up do to hide the fact that I crocheted the head too tightly to get a hook through the center to add more hair. ;)

On the other hand, these are ADORABLE, so they are worth the frustrations I had.

My friend Arnell is getting married next week and at work we celebrate stuff like that, so I decided to make him these cake toppers for our work party.
