used G hook on bootie. pattern does not say which hook for gauge. bootie quite confusing at first, as it is not clear which side is RS and WS and which one to start on.

7/25- G hook, white/pink bootie (1 made)- 2 hrs.
7/26- made the second bootie. went smoother. joined/seamed, weaved in ends. before doing picot round and leg part. still do not like the * 5dc, dc* cause i cant quite get it to work out with the stitches… my improvise next set i make.

8/7 finished jacket and pants. will work pants in round next time, hate working flat and then seaming. added ribbon to booties,jacket and pants. added a different border for the ribbon on the pants. will not put ribbon at ankles.

on to the bonnet….

8/13 started bonnet, instructions unclear on the back frill imo but working to that point

8/15 finished. worked the back frill while attaching sides and center piece, crocheting together instead of sewing.

would not be my first choice for a beginner set, but will make again with my mods because it is old-fashion quality to it.
