Finished the 169th cookie shortly before sunset yesterday. Now having fantastic visions of getting them all joined by next Friday.

Clearly, I didn’t get this done in time for Mother’s Day, but I really want to get this project finished and sent as a gift, so I am making a major push to get it done. I want all the cookies crocheted by bedtime on June 30.

As a start, I am using (and then modifying) the cookie from Twinkie Chan’s cookie scarf. I don’t really know how I am going to make some of the cookies I envision, but that is just part of the adventure.

I have not mentioned to my friend that I am making this. I want it to be a surprise for mother’s day.
