Once I got this pieced together and stuffed it, it looked more spherical and less dodecahedron-ish, but I really like it any way.

I am using the pattern for a pentagon I devised for use with the African Flower hexagon to make a soccer ball, and you can find my pattern for the pentagon here.

As for the yarn, I am using Red Heart Super Saver in the following colors, Cherry Red, Hot Red, Shocking Pink, Pretty ‘n Pink, Bright Yellow, Pumpkin, Spring Green, Turqua, Delft, Amethyst, and Dark Orchid.

I have also deemed this project vintage yarn worthy and am making one panel from an acrylic green from Fiesta, circa 1970
