I used/am using (still need to appliqué the Santa head to the square) Red Heart Super Saver paddy green, bikini, warm brown, soft white, and yellow.

While the pattern instructions didn’t mention this, I found it necessary to use a smaller hook when crocheting the head so that it would better fit on the square, and look more like a face. Here is a blog post about the challenges of this square.
