Before casting on, I did a citric acid soak on both the gradient kit, and the 100g skein of Marcia. (For silk and wool, use 3/4 of the citric acid.) Just in case.

  • For the kit, I did 1.5 tsp of citric acid to 8 cups of water
  • for the Marcia, I did 3/4 tsp of citric acid to 4 cups of water
