Things that aren’t yarn/needles:

We did a Facebook Live video (available here) of me sewing and cutting the steek. I had a pile of stuff that I mentioned, here it is:

07-25-2016

  • Work numbers for 7 sts/26” size, lengths for 28” size

07-25-2016

  • co 182, needs to be a multiple of 14 for the flower/waves charts

09-11-2016

On size 3.0 mm needles, CO and work 8 rows in st st. Purl next RS row, CO three sts for steek (work these in Purl). switch to 3.25 mm needles. Begin 14 st scallop chart. Work 6 rounds of chart. Next solid color row, knit hem into body. Work 1 round solid, then work 14 st thistle chart.

Beads:

  • Using black yarn, work the joint around (where you attach the sleeves to the body). On the following round, using the super floss method, place one gold bead every sixth stitch. These beads will fall on the previous round, which is exactly what you want.

02-12-2017

Beaded flower chart is 3 inches tall. Start chart after first yokedecrease round.

02-15-2017

The second yoke decrease round falls while you are working on the beaded chart. Use the chart for reference points as to where to place the beads around the decreases. After you’re finished with the decreases, don’t count the stitches on the chart (I drew and where the “no stitch”es fell.) make sure that you are following the row below for reference points.
