Major props to Kyrie and zamama for collecting the errata on this pattern. They saved me a lot a stress and aggravation!

The directions for the picot bind-off in the pattern were confusing to me, so I used this one from Frill:

BO 2 sts, * sl st back to LH needle, cast on 1 st using the knit cast on (k1, sl st back to LH needle), then bind off 3 sts; rep from * to end.

I used 9mm locking toy eyes. 12 or 15mm eyes would have been better, but 9 was what I had.
