I lengthened the sleeves about an inch so they would be full-length and not 3/4 length.

I also took one look at this sweater about halfway through the body, and said, “No freaking way.” It was tiny, and I caught myself sizing up babies and wondering if their parents would mind me slipping them into a partially-knit sweater so I could see how it looked on a 3 month old.

Solution? I frogged. I used a bigger needle, I knit everything again.

Advice: You know how with babies, “6 months” size isn’t really for 6 month-olds? Well, this pattern is like that, but where you would normally think, “I’ll knit the size up!” instead think, “I will knit two sizes up.”

Also, I read later that people cast on more stitches under the arms--this is smart. Consider that as you knit yours.
