Gauge is an issue for me with this pattern. Big surprise, right? I found it impossible to get row gauge without making the sock way too wide for my freaky-narrow foot. Unfortunately, I had finished the foot before I figured out what I should have worked out in the first place. But at least you can benefit from my hindsight.

Here is the solution, if you should need to add length:

After the toe increases, continue knitting without increases according to the established twisted stitch cable pattern.

You WILL need to math out your row gauge in order to determine how many repeats of the cable chart you’ll need to make in order to regain your lost length. But, this is the best way to get the foot length you want without making massive changes in the foot/gusset pattern. And you don’t want to do that, do you?
