I wanted this to look more like a real serape so I mirrored the stripes starting from the middle stripe instead of repeating the color pattern like the instructions said to. Plus I added a few natural/white rows and fringe on both ends instead of doing whole border in the dark green.

Also, in the 6th row of each color stripe, I did dc3tog stitches across so that the middle two rows of each color stripe would look more like diamonds instead of the stitch that was given in the instructions for the 6th row.

It was a fun project; very easy, very quick.
