A good friend sent me a pin on Pinterest asking if I could make the blanket for her to give to her daughter as a wedding present. The problem was that it was only a picture of a blanket that someone had made; there was no pattern attached to the link.

After some research and experimentation I was able to graph out some patterns for the squares and am pretty pleased with the results so far.

The graphs are pretty simple; the white squares are single crochet and the blue squares are bobble stitches (YO, insert hook in next stitch, YO, pull up a loop, YO, pull through two loops, YO, insert hook in same stitch, YO, pull up a loop, YO, pull through two loops three more times, Yo and draw yarn through all 5 loops).

The different squares are hearts (love), cabins (home), butterflies (happiness), and diamonds (prosperity).
