Notes

This is a great pattern with meticulous finishing details that create a versatile wardrobe staple that will last the test of time. That being said read the pattern carefully and follow the directions. I failed to do that and ended up picking up the stitches for the ruffle upside down and had to rip back a ridiculous amount of stitches. I also bound off the sleeve stitches too loosely and lost the puff sleeve effect so had to reknit that. Another modification I made was to knit the body of the sweater in a single strand of fingering weight sparkle yarn. I knit the top section and ruffle in a single stand of mohair. The icord neck was knit with double stranded mohair.
