2.9.13 - swatched with size 6 needles…too small. i like the swatch after blocking, but it’s about 22.5 stitches per 4 inches, so i’m worried that it will give me trouble at the end.

2.10.13 - swatching with size 7 needles today, and it’s already looking so much better. crossing my fingers that it will give me those couple of extra stitches per inch so I can get started. eta…gauge with size 7 is about 21 stitches per 4 inches

2.17.13 - lace yoke done with size 7 needle and blocked. started the stockinette/body today. i bumped up to a size 8 needle…just to make sure that i got gauge…or at least closer to it. this size, i’m thinking will be a bit large on me, but i’d rather a nice flowy, non-fitted cardigan than a too tight one.

3.7.13 - FINISHED!!!! I’m SO excited because this is my first adult sweater project! It’s blocking now, and it’s already so much flow-ier and larger, and the yarn looks better already! LOVE!!!!! I would recommend to all future knitters to block out the lace as evenly as you possibly can…mine is sort of rippled because I didn’t have blocking wires…which truly would have made a huge difference for this one.
