Yes, I really made this yoga mat bag using this tote pattern.
I made the bottom of the tote up to 6-inches in width and then crocheted the sides up to about 3-inches above the top of the yoga mat.
The handle was obviously made longer to fit the length of the tote, and is removable so I could use it as a strap to get into those hard to reach yoga poses.
I found the buttons at my favorite craft store to top off the look. If I did it all over again, I think I would make the circumference smaller….
