Pattern Stitch – joining color double crochet (jcdc)
With previous color, yo and pull up a loop in next st, (three loops on the hook.) With next color, in pattern, yo and pull through two loops on hook; yo and pull through two loops on the hook; yo and pull through last two loops = jcdc made; carry MC through changed color stitches.
The base and top are crocheted carrying two strands of yarn.
One ball of coordinating color was used to make two balls to be used while work was in progress. Keep yarn untangled while in progress.
