Unlike most patterns, I checked gauge on this pattern so I could get the right amount of yarn before the project started. Even though the hook called for was a G, I used an ‘I’ to get gauge.
I gave this pattern four stars because I did not like the edging pattern. I liked the look of it, but either I did not understand the pattern (which is possible but not likely) or the edging was just too loose for me.
I used the same kind of stitches, I just didn’t use as many as the pattern called for.
The pattern was easy and just like the book is titled, worked up very quickly. I might be making a few of these to sell at the craft fair this year.
