An easy pattern, once you start the rows it’s one of those you memorize and you just keep going until it’s done-really quickly.
I did a total of 70 rows for this shawl, rather than the 95 that it calls for.
I also did not do the fringe that the pattern suggested. That’s just my thing.

I bought this book and made this shawl for my friend who is dying of liver disease. My mom modeled the shawl for me (the one in the photo,) and I hope to get a photo of my friend for my memories as well.

The book has prayers for each shawl and I typed it up and put it on a card when I gave it to her.
