I made this bag out of cotton yarn that I had in my stash. I liked the pattern a lot, but I did not do the sides and bottom of the bag as described in the pattern. Instead of working all the rows on the right side, I worked the pattern back and forth through both loops.
I had some time on my hands when I made this bag.
I shortened the handles slightly, which worked out well because the yarn stretched when the bag was heavy. I washes well and before I used it to house my crochet projects, I used it as a shopping bag. I still like taking it to the craft store and getting compliments on it.
