knit eye of partridge heel flap, turned heel after 33 rows (on 34th purled 2 past center stitch)

Picked up 18 on each side for gusset, 31 on pattern side, moved marker to back of heel.

Once decreasing was done, I had 18 stitches, 31 for pattern, and 17 on the 3rd section. For toe, moved marker to right before pattern, moved one of the 18 stitches to the top, decreased 2 from the back on 3rd row of pattern to have 32 in front and 32 in back.
