Notes

I’ll write out the full pattern but right now just for my reference:

CO 88 with size 7 dpns
9 rounds of 2x2 ribbing
Switched to size 9 16” circular
round 1 knit
round 2 increase one every 11 = 96 sts
round 3 increase one every 6 = 112 sts
round 4 increase one every 7 =128 sts
round 5 increase one every 8 = 144 sts
round 6 increase one every 18 = 152 sts

uh I think its too big.:(

update: I decreased to aggressively so it ended up being too small. Frogged up to the decreased 96 stitches and adding a few extra rows and decreasing a bit more gradually.

decreasing:
k2tog every 19 =144 sts
k2tog every 6 = 120 sts
k2tog every 5= 96 sts
Knit 96 sts
K2tog every 8 = 84 sts
Knit 84
K2tog every 7 = 72 sts
K2tog every 6 = 60 sts
K2tog every 5 = 48 sts
K2tog every 4 = 36 sts
k2tog every 9 = 32 sts
k2tog every 4 = 24 sts
Then k2tog and k2 until you have 3 stitches left. I did 5-6 rows of icord to make a cute beret stem and bound off.

Oops, this was for class and I wasn’t suppose to finish but I once I get into a project I can’t help but continue! Maybe I’ll start a regular beanie (like I was supposed to do) for mike and finish that one in class.
