Notes

Cast on with size 5, did 10 rows of ribbing with size 3, switched to size 5 small circular.

8/2 - first day, got 21 rows of the complex part of the pattern. I hope I don’t have as much problems as I’ve read other people having on grafting the mitt part on.

8/3 - second day, finished all 40 rows on the chart and did a couple knit rows for the hand. Despite the complexity of the design its going really fast!

8/5 - Almost done with mitt 1, just missing the thumb. I want to make the thumb convertible as well, I need to figure out how.
Worked 18 rounds of the mitt then decreased until I had 18 stitches and grafted the end, leaving the tail long enough for the icord. Did 12 rows of icord with size 2 needles. Started mitt number 2, did the ribbed band and on first row of pattern.

8/8 finished most of mitt 2 yesterday, grafted the end and added the loop today. Just need to do the thumbs and sew the buttons and they are all done!
