Afterglow is light or radiance remaining in the sky after the sun has set.

All photographs of sunsets were taken by me in San Diego area over the last few years. I must say that sunsets here are quite spectacular.

I am knitting a shawl again. What a surprise. ;-) What can I say, I love to knit them and love designing shawls :-) This one is bottom-up design. I am in love with the lace border :-))) So much fun to knit.
The shawl is done, but still needs blocking. I did not use the whole skein as I hoped. Bottom-up design starting with CO lots of sts for the border is relatively new to me and I am still learning how to figure out size/number of sts/yarn needed for that type of shawl construction. Re-knitting to a bigger size would mean starting from zero. So, even that I do not like having leftover yarn, it just will have to be as is. The shawl is a good size anyway. It is very easy to make this shawl bigger or smaller if needed.

Took the shawl of the blocking pins today and I am in love ;-))) Pictures on me will come later. I promise :-)) For now pictures on my trusty helper ;-))
