This yarn is a gift from Carree of INJI Kismet Fibers. Thank you so much :-))) The yarn is soft, silky and has a wonderful drape. Beetlejuice colorway is amazing. It has one of my favorite color combination.

Beetlejuice is a little sister of my Bordertown shawl :-) They both have the same lace pattern and shaped as a triangle. However, this is where the similarities end. Boerdertown is knitted sideways with cable/picot border knitted simultaneously. Beetlejuice shawl has a bottom-up construction. The border is done afterwards and it is a simple crochet border with little picots. This is the first time I used crochet technique in my design. I love how it worked out :-) I really love how single ply yarn fabric looks when crocheted.

Beetlejuice shawl uses only 1 skein of fingering weight yarn, but can be made larger or smaller easily. The shawl is reversible!!!! Also, this design can also be in two colors, one for the body and another for the border.
