Notes

My daughter have been asking for a blanket for a year or so. Finally started it today :-) I did not want to knit 300 stitches per row, so I thought I crochet something. I am still learning crocheting and this is the first time crocheting granny stripes. :-)
Yarn from my stash. I have not bought any yarn for almost a year now. It was hard at first, but now it is not. Feels great to knit from the stash and to decrease it a little! You always think that there is better yarn or better color out there for this project or that, but in reality most often that not you have the yarn you need right in your stash ;-)

Being back in college left me very little time for knitting, but I am slowly making progress on several projects I have going including this blanket for my daughter :-)

Just in case anyone wondering, I am still holding strong and have not bought any yarn since November 2015!!!

Finally managed to add some pics to my project slightly_smiling_face
My daughter took this blanket to college with her and loves it. It came out great size for tween XL bed that they have there in the dorms slightly_smiling_face I am so glad I was able to finish this blanket on time!!! It only took 3 years slightly_smiling_face
