I have been drooling over this yarn for couple of month and then I finally bought it on my birthday. It is the softest yarn out there..it is also very silky. The colors are so dreamy. I am loving it. Thank you Melissa for making it :-)))
I was thinking for a while how to use it the best to the very last inch :-))) I love this Luna Bella scarf. It has this beautiful and unusual lace pattern. I thought this would be a perfect fit for this yarn and this color. This way I can easily wear this in the summer, since the colors are very bright and sunny :-)))

07.20.10. The scarf is finished and I love it :-))) It blocked really well and now the pattern looks beautiful :-))) The scarf is not as long as I would like, but that is all the yarn I had and the length is satisfactory as is. I loved the I-cord CO, I-cord BO and I-cord on the sides. It gives really finished edge. However, it is very very important to knit the I-cord very loose. I am happy with all my I-cord edges, but CO. At the beginning it looked like it was loose enough, but it turned out not so. I-cord edges are not very elastic and very difficult to block beyond certain point.
This was a very easy to memorize pattern, but you have to pay attention, since it is hard to say what row of the pattern your are on and also very difficult to unravel…you can only do it one stitch at the time, since it is not easy to identify a row ;-))

07.23.10 My 8 year old daughter took the pictures today. I think she did a lovely work :-))

there is an error in row1 of the pattern. It should be:
K8 ^^(DS,(yox2)K2tog, K3) repeat from ^^ but on the last repeat knit as such: (DS,(yox2)K2tog, K1) and then sl3st pwise wyif.

11.17.11 I am doing “Wear a Shawl Challenge” on my Blog and took some new pictures of my shawl for that purpose
